Juventus will not block the sale of Federico Chiesa.
He is a quality winger from Italy. At 175 centimeters, he’s not the most physically gifted player, but he’s a ‘crack’ type of player with good movement and pace, as well as excellent dribbling and finishing ability. He can play as a left or right winger and has a good understanding of the game, which gives him a lot of tactical versatility.
Grew up in the Fiorentina youth system. He progressed through the age groups and made his senior debut in the 2016-17 season. He made 27 league appearances that season, scoring three goals and providing three assists, as well as appearing in the UEFA Europa League (UEL). He went on to become a key part of Fiorentina’s core and became one of the most sought-after players in the league.
He was then approached by Juventus. He joined the Bianconeri on loan for the 2020-21 season and quickly established himself as a regular in the first team, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists in 43 games, including cup competitions. His performances convinced the Bianconeri to spend a substantial amount of money to buy him outright.
At Euro 2020 at the end of the 2020-21 season, Chiesa was at his best, playing every game from the group stage to the final and scoring two goals to help Italy win the tournament. He was only a candidate in the first and second rounds of the group stage, but as the tournament progressed, he became a regular starter and the de facto ace of Italy’s defense. After the tournament, he quickly increased his value, being named to the Best 11.
However, he couldn’t keep it up. Injuries were a problem. From the beginning of the 2021-22 season, he missed a lot of time due to frequent injuries, and in the second half of the season, he was ruled out with an ACL injury. After playing 30 games in the league the previous season, he was limited to less than 20, including cup competitions. Kiesa looked to rebound in 2022-23. But once again, injuries plagued him. In the process, his role continued to diminish. This season, he was used more as a substitute.
Last summer, he was linked with a transfer. Newcastle United were interested. According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Newcastle are set to hold talks with Chiesa’s agent. Jacques Talbot, writing for the British newspaper The Times, also reported that Juventus were unwilling to block the sale of Chiesa. 토스카지노 주소
The situation hasn’t changed. Newcastle are still after him, and Juventus have listed Chiesa for sale. According to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, “Juventus could push for the sale of Chiesa, whose contract expires in 2025. Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping an eye on him. The estimated transfer fee is 60 million euros ($86 million).”
