Interest in Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain) is heating up.
On the 19th (KST), Spanish media outlet Football España reported, “Lee Kang-in was one of the most outstanding talents in the Spanish Primera Liga. Real Sociedad are interested in signing him.
Lee is a talent that Valencia trusted and nurtured. He came up through the Valencia youth ranks to join the first team. However, the transition to the professional ranks was another matter. He had a bit of a rough patch, and there were rumors of bullying. Eventually, Lee decided to look for a new opportunity. He moved to Real Mallorca ahead of the 2021-2022 season. After a period of adjustment, he flourished in the 2022-2023 season. He played 2840 minutes in 36 league games. He exploded for six goals, six assists, and double-digit attacking points. In April, he became the first South Korean player to score multiple goals in a single game in Spain, and he pumped his fist in the air.
The world took notice, and he received offers from all over Europe, including Atletico Madrid (Spain), Tottenham, Manchester United, and Aston Villa (England). He landed at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) amidst a flurry of interest, and was quickly recognized by new coach Luis Enrique. However, injuries early in the season and the Hangzhou Asian Games prevented him from getting much playing time.
Lee has played three times for PSG this season and could return to Spain, according to Football España. He could be a replacement for Kubo Takefusa, who is rumored to be returning to Real Madrid. However, this seems unlikely. PSG spent €22 million to sign Lee just a few months ago. He is valuable to PSG. However, Real Sociedad will be able to keep an eye on him. 메이저사이트
Lee rejoined PSG after two matches at the Hangzhou Asian Games in October. PSG resumes French Ligue 1 action at home against Strasbourg on Nov. 22.
French media outlet Footmercato said on Oct. 18, “Lee Kang-in has made an impressive comeback. He has been at the top of his game for the South Korean national team. It’s a good sign for PSG. The South Korean dynamo delighted many Parisian fans with his early season performances. In October, Lee scored three goals and provided one assist in A matches. His return could be a big boost for PSG, who have little confidence at the moment.
