KT Wiz announced on Wednesday that it has filed waiver claims with the KBO for four players: left-handed pitcher Baek Sun-ki, right-handed pitcher Baek Hyun-soo, infielder Lee Dong-kwan, and catcher Han Ji-yong.

All four players have played only in the Futures League without any first-team appearances.

Baek Sun-ki, a native of Gyeongsangjoong-do and Daegu Sangwon High School, was selected by KT with the 61st overall pick in the seventh round of the 2018 rookie draft. 메이저놀이터 An outfielder at the time of his selection, Baek played as a hitter until the 2022 season, when he switched to pitching. Jangang-go-Wonkwangdae infielder Lee Dong-kwan, a 2023 Developmental Player, batted .229 (11-for-48) with three home runs, 13 RBIs and four stolen bases in 31 games in the Futures League.

Catcher Han Ji-yong, a graduate of Youngnam Middle-Shinil High School, was selected by KT with the 62nd overall pick in the seventh round of the 2020 Rookie Draft. In 78 games in the Futures League, Han hit .266 (41-for-154) with two home runs, 16 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
