Al Nasr laughed off Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace.
Al Nasr defeated Al Ahli 4-3 at home in the seventh round of the Saudi Pro League for the 2023-2024 season at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday (Nov. 23).
The victory extended Al Nasr’s early season momentum to six straight wins in all competitions, including four straight in the league.
It was a one-sided, Al Nasr-dominated game. In the fourth minute of the first half, Sadio Mane took advantage of a mistake in the defense to win the ball. He slipped a pass to Ronaldo on the left flank, who collected it and opened the scoring with a precise one-footed shot across the face of goal.
It was Ronaldo’s eighth goal in the league and his fifth in a row. From there, both teams went on a wild ride. Talisca scored twice in the first half, while Al Ahli could only muster a consolation goal from Frank Kessier to give Al Nasr a 3-1 lead at the break. 안전놀이터
Three minutes into the second half, Al Ahli pulled within one goal, 3-2, on a penalty kick by Mahrez. With the game on the line, Ronaldo found the back of the net once again with his golden left foot to make it 4-2 in the seventh minute of the second half.
Al Ahli went on the offensive. However, Firas Al Ghandi scored a consolation goal just before the end of the match. The match would go on to be scored as a 4-3 victory for Al Nasr.
