‘Denmark’s Holland’ Hojbjerg misses out on transfer…Man Utd to give ‘fallen prospect’ a chance→”Regaining fitness is key”

With Manchester United’s target Rasmus Højlund likely to miss the start of the season due to injury, it has been suggested that Mason Greenwood, who has been on the fringes of United’s interest, could be given a chance.

The Red Devils officially announced the signing of Hoilett on Friday (June 5) via the club’s official website, stating, “Hoilett has signed for Manchester United,” and “Hoilett has signed a contract that runs until June 2028, with an option to extend for a further year.”

The transfer fee for the player is reportedly around £72 million, including options. “Manchester United have agreed a £72m deal to sign Danish striker Højlund from Atalanta,” the BBC reported. 토토사이트

The Red Devils have been trying to find a solution to the frontline with Anthony Martial, Baat Behorst, and Marcus Rashford, but have been unsuccessful. As a result, if they don’t add another striker to their squad, they’ll be without a focal point for their offense next season.

This is where Højlund came into the picture. Born in 2003, the Danish striker is still just 20 years old and is considered a player with a bright future after scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 32 appearances in the Italian Serie A last season. He has already earned a call-up to the Danish national team, scoring six goals in six games.

At 6-foot-2 and with his pace and shooting ability, some fans have dubbed him the “next Holland” and the “Danish Holland,” saying he reminds them of “monster striker” Elling Holland (Manchester City), who scored 52 goals last season.

Commenting on the signing, Director of Football John Murtagh said: “Hui Lun is an incredibly talented player. He has skills and physical attributes that are among the best in the world at his age. Working with coach Thornton Haag will give him the perfect platform to develop. Everyone at the club will give him the time and all the support he needs to fulfill his enormous potential.”

In his acceptance speech, Hui Lun expressed his delight at joining United. “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to turn my dreams into reality and I am ready to repay the faith the club has shown in me. It’s still early days in my career, but I know I’m ready to play alongside world-class players,” he said.

“After speaking with coach Erik Turnhard, I knew this environment would be perfect for my development. I am really enjoying the opportunity to work with one of the best coaches in the world. I believe I can achieve great things with my new teammates at this special club.”

Hoi Lun was at Old Trafford for United’s friendly against Reims earlier in the day and made an appearance in front of the fans with his jersey. He stood in the center of the pitch before the game, posing for photos and welcoming fans to the club.
